Subscription, Cancellation, Refund & Billing Policy

Careerlista helps job seekers prepare stronger applications, optimize their résumés for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), discover relevant opportunities, and manage their job search with confidence.

We offer a Free Plan, monthly and 90-day Career Accelerator memberships, and a personalized Concierge Career Service. This policy explains how payments, cancellations, refunds, and membership access work.

1. Free Plan Policy

Careerlista offers a Free Plan so you can use essential job-search tools before buying a paid membership.

Free Membership — US$0

The Free Membership includes limited access to Careerlista’s résumé optimization, ATS Check, Job Radar Lite, ApplyReady, and Career Pipeline features. Usage limits are shown on our Pricing Page.

• No payment is required to create a Free account.
• Your Free Membership does not expire.
• You may upgrade to a paid membership at any time.
• No cancellation is required for a Free Membership.

Paid memberships do not include a free trial period. Paid access begins once your payment has been processed successfully.

2. Paid Membership Plans

Career Accelerator — 90-Day Plan

The 90-Day Plan costs US$89, paid upfront.

• It provides 90 consecutive days of Career Accelerator access.
• Your payment covers the entire 90-day period.
• The membership expires automatically at the end of the 90 days.
• There are no automatic renewals or recurring charges.
• To keep using Premium features after it expires, you must buy another membership.

Career Accelerator — Monthly Plan

The Monthly Plan costs US$69 per month.

• Your first payment is charged when you subscribe.
• Your subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel it.
• You may cancel at any time.
• Cancelling stops future renewal charges.
• Paid features remain available until the end of your current billing period.

Concierge Career Service

The Concierge Career Service costs US$999 as a one-time payment. It includes:

• personalized career coaching
• résumé and LinkedIn optimization
• interview preparation
• career positioning
• 90 days of Career Accelerator access, starting on the date of purchase

Personalized Concierge services are delivered under the service terms agreed at purchase. If those service terms conflict with this policy on the scope or delivery of personalized services, the service terms govern. This policy governs all billing, payment, and refund-request procedures.

3. Cancellation Policy

Members may cancel recurring subscriptions with no cancellation penalty.

Cancelling a Monthly Subscription

1. Sign in to your Careerlista account.
2. Go to Account → Plan & Usage.
3. Select Manage billing, which opens your secure Stripe billing page, then Cancel plan.
4. Follow the instructions to confirm your cancellation.

Once your cancellation is confirmed:

• No further monthly payments will be charged.
• You keep Career Accelerator access until the end of your current paid billing period.
• Your account returns to the Free Membership automatically when your paid access expires.
• Your résumés, Career DNA, application records, and job-search history remain saved, subject to Careerlista’s data retention policies.

Cancelling does not automatically generate a refund for payments already processed. See Section 4 for refund eligibility.

Cancelling a 90-Day Membership

The 90-Day Membership is a fixed-term, one-time purchase and does not renew. No cancellation is needed to prevent future charges. Your paid access expires automatically after 90 days, and your account returns to the Free Membership.

Cancelling the Concierge Career Service

Submit Concierge cancellation requests to support@careerlista.com. Whether a refund is available depends on whether personalized services have started or been delivered, as set out in Section 4.

4. Refund Policy

We want customers to understand their payment obligations before committing to a membership. Refund requests are reviewed under the conditions below.

Monthly and 90-Day Memberships

A refund request may be considered for any payment, including a monthly renewal, when all of these apply:

• The request is submitted within 2 calendar days of that payment.
• The member has not used any paid Career Accelerator features during the period covered by that payment.
• The request includes the account email address and the reason for the refund.

Eligible refunds are subject to a 3.5% payment-processing and administrative fee. This fee is disclosed at checkout and applies where permitted by applicable law.

Refunds are not ordinarily provided for:

• Membership periods in which paid features have already been used.
• Unused portions of a 90-day membership after the 2-day refund window.
• Renewal charges where the refund request is made after the 2-day refund window.
• A change in employment status or job-search requirements.
• A decision to stop using Careerlista after receiving paid services.

Each refund request is reviewed individually. Nothing in this policy limits refunds or other remedies required by applicable consumer protection laws.

Concierge Career Service Refunds

Concierge purchases are not subject to the 2-day refund window above. Instead:

• A request submitted before personalized services begin may qualify for a refund, less the 3.5% processing fee and any other disclosed charges, subject to applicable law.
• Once a strategy session, résumé rebuild, LinkedIn optimization, interview coaching, or other personalized service has started, any refund is assessed on the services delivered and the applicable service agreement.
• Completed and delivered personalized services are generally non-refundable, except where required by law.
• If a Concierge purchase is refunded in full, the included Career Accelerator access ends on the date of the refund.

How to Request a Refund

Email support@careerlista.com with the subject line Refund Request. Include:

• your registered Careerlista email address
• the payment date
• your membership plan
• your reason for requesting a refund

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. How long the funds take to appear depends on your payment provider or financial institution.

5. Billing Process

Careerlista processes payments securely through Stripe. By purchasing a paid membership, you authorize Careerlista to process payments according to the plan you select at checkout.

Monthly Memberships

• Billed US$69 on the initial subscription date.
• Renewed automatically on the same billing date each month.
• Recurring charges continue until the subscription is cancelled.

90-Day Memberships

• Billed US$89 once, at purchase.
• Provide 90 days of paid access.
• Do not renew automatically.

Concierge Career Service

• Billed US$999 as a one-time payment.
• Includes 90 days of Career Accelerator access from the date of purchase.
• Does not renew automatically.

Additional purchases, such as Auto Apply credits when available, are billed separately at the price displayed before checkout.

Payment Authorization and Taxes

Careerlista may use payment verification or a temporary card authorization to validate a payment method. A temporary authorization is not an additional membership charge and is normally released according to your financial institution’s processing timelines.

All membership prices are in United States dollars (USD). Any applicable taxes are calculated and shown at checkout before you confirm payment.

6. Account Access After Cancellation or Expiration

When your paid membership ends, your account returns to the Free Plan automatically.

Your work remains yours. Careerlista keeps your Career DNA, generated résumés, application history, and Career Pipeline records, subject to the platform’s data retention policies.

You keep access to Free Plan features, subject to the applicable usage limits. Premium features, unlimited usage, and advanced automation are not available unless you reactivate a paid membership.

7. Employment Outcomes Disclaimer

Careerlista provides technology, career preparation tools, application management, and optional personalized career services.

Our tools are designed to improve application quality and support a more organized job search. However, purchasing a membership does not guarantee employment, recruiter responses, interviews, or job offers. Hiring decisions remain the responsibility of employers and recruiters.
