How Careerlista uses AI and your data
Before you get started, here is what you should know.
We use AI to personalise your experience. Careerlista uses artificial intelligence to match jobs to you, write and check a résumé for each job, and suggest what to fix. The AI decides which jobs you see first and what it suggests. It does not decide whether an employer hires you. Hiring decisions are always made by employers.
What we collect
- Information you give us: your name and email address, your résumé and the documents you upload, your work history, education, certificates, skills and languages (your Career DNA), the jobs you paste, your job preferences, and your answers to application questions.
- How you use Careerlista: the jobs you save, apply to or hide, your applications and their stages, your searches, and the notes you send us.
- Technical information: your browser and device type, your sign-in activity, and, when you accept this notice, a one-way hash of your internet address as a record. We do not use advertising trackers.
How the AI uses it To score how well a job fits you, write your résumé for that job, check it the way screening software reads it, and fill application forms. Only the information needed for each task is sent to our AI providers (OpenAI and Google), and we never send it to them for training.
Is your data used to train our AI? No. Your interactions are not kept or used to retrain our AI models.
Your choices
- Turn off personalised job matching at any time in Settings → AI & Data. Job Radar then stops finding and scoring jobs for you; a job you paste yourself still gets its résumé.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, from the same place.
- Questions? Contact support@careerlista.com.
